Mexico Land of the Sun and Culture

Coat of Arms

Mexico is located in North America, bordering the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico, between Belize and the U. S. and bordering the North Pacifid Ocean, between Guatemala and the US. The terrain is high, rugged mountains; low coastal plains; high plateaus. The climate is tropical to desert.

Mexican culture is a fascinating blend of Native American traditions and Spanish colonial influences. Its cuisine today is diverse, daring and delicious, and dishes do vary from region to region. This country has extremely attractive touristic sites like the majestic Mayan ruins in the Yucatan peninsula that reflect its cultural richness. The beautiful beaches along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexco can be visited at any time since the weather is fabulous all year round.
